To garnish a pie or fill two jars of jam, nothing could be simpler, two ingredients are enough:
- 200g dark chocolate (75% cocoa)
- 200ml of coconut milk
Heat the coconut milk in the microwave or in a saucepan.
Meanwhile, coarsely chop the chocolate with a knife: the finer the pieces, the more homogeneous the ganache mixture will be.
When the milk starts to boil, add the milk to the chopped chocolate. Mix gently with a whisk or a maryse to homogenize the mixture.
Pour the chocolate into the bottom of your pie. If you prefer to use it as a ganache, leave it to cool for 2 to 3 hours in the fridge, until it reaches the consistency of a spread: you can garnish chocolate biscuits or enjoy it on delicious low GI wholemeal bread!
Tip: coconut cream will add a touch of originality and deliciousness to your ganache. If you like coconut, you can also add coconut chips or grated coconut...
