For those who are still hesitant, we have decided to share with you one of our flagship breakfast recipes : Low GI Banana Bread.
This recipe has a glycemic index of 27, calculated by our new glycemic index calculator , don't hesitate to use it for all your recipes 🙌.
BANANA BREAD
For 6 to 8 people.
Preparation: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour
Ingredients
• 3 not too ripe bananas + 1 for decoration
• 2 whole eggs
• 100 ml of milk
• 30 ml of water
• 85 g of T150 flour
• 40 g of wheat bran
• 70 g of hazelnut or almond powder
• ½ sachet of baking powder
• 50 g of agave syrup
• 80 g of butter
• 100 g of dark chocolate (70% minimum)
Preparation
👉 Preheat your oven to 170°C.
👉 In a salad bowl, mash the bananas using a fork then add the eggs, milk and water.
👉 Add the powders (flour, wheat bran, almonds or hazelnuts, yeast) and mix.
👉 Pour in the agave syrup, the previously melted butter and mix.
👉 Add the crushed chocolate.
👉 Pour the mixture into a buttered cake mold (25 × 10 cm) then decorate with banana strips.
👉Bake the banana bread for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 160°C.
And there you have it, you have something to eat banana bread for breakfast during your week or share it as a snack with your whole family 🥰!
